About the Book

The book is written for the general public, novice, beginner, the experienced shooter and the retiree looking for a hobby. It is a nonfiction guide book that exposes all the facets of cowboy shooting and includes the state of the art and modern approaches to the sport.
About the Author
The author is a retired medical physician who practiced for 21 years in the northern New England community of Newport, Vermont. He has been a registered SASS shooter since 1998 and belongs to three SASS Cowboy Shooting Clubs—The Dalton Gang of Dalton, New Hampshire—The Verdant Mountain Vigilantes of St. Johnsbury, Vermont—and The Gold Coast Gunslingers of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is an award winning shooter of the sport. This is the author's fi rst published book. He and his wife Claudette live in Morgan, Vermont and Homestead, Florida.
