About the Book

This project is a display of Edcar Johnson’s love, sweat and tears. Each piece is a reflection of his experiences, feelings and broad-minded thoughts. In this book he takes you through the depths of harsh reality, pleasantries, and desires. He talks about politics, street violence, love, heartbreak and other worldly issues. It consists of a compilation of various topics that a wide-range audience can relate to. Enjoy.

About the Author

Edcar Johnson was born in Boston, MA in the 80’s. He journeyed through life as a thriving individual, aspiring to one day do something that would impact the lives of many. Edcar found his niche at a young age as a writer, writing raps and other forms of poetry. He wrote his first rap at age 12, reciting it over his friend’s beat box in front of his sixth grade class. Even before that, he kept a journal all through elementary school, writing down whatever came to mind. He has come a long way since then, bringing a more significance to his art.
