Although not entirely a happy memoir, this book looks back on the author’s life with a dash of humor. It reminds the author of his mostly painful yet rewarding challenges while growing up, and being a Greek orphan. In this book, he states that his life had an enormous toll on him, leaving deep scars that are diffi cult to heal. However, this story is not merely about the author’s life. It also contains several universal themes about childhood, adoption, how to raise children, and more. About the Author

C. Dionysios Dionou was orphaned in Greece, sold in a black market, and raised in New York City in a nest of pythons. He has worked, as a day laborer, chef, high school teacher, adjunct professor, owned and operated small businesses, and is a part time actor. He has appeared in both fi lm, TV, and has been a guest on talk radio. He’s a proud member of PROTECT (www.protect.org). Dionysios is currently working on his next book. He lives with his family, in the New York area.
