About the Book

Emily cannot afford a doll, but that will not stop her from helping others. One day, something magical happens to her and changes her life forever. Does Emily finally have a doll? Does she use the magic to help other girls? What is her message for all the other girls?

About the Author

Aidi Yin studied in Beijing Medical University and Boston University. She is the author of “Emily and Her Dolls” (children’s book), “I love my brother!” (children’s book), and “The Crystal Ball” (novel). She lives with her husband, daughter (Kerry Grogan), and son in the Caribbean and New York. Kerry Grogan is in grade three. She is the illustrator of two children’s books: “Emily and Her Dolls” and “I Love My Brother!”
