About the Author

Meet Felicia Floyd, a lover of children, writing and dancing. Born and raised by a single mother and had an absent father. She was born in Dothan Alabama, but don't remember anything about it. That's because she was brought to Newark New Jersey at the early age of two along with her two older siblings were she started her education and finished it at East Orange High. After going through some ups and downs in her life, she decided to make a change and not let life defeat her, going back to school and receiving her degree in early childhood education she is now the proud owner of her own Daycare center and is still working towards her masters degree. A mother of three beautiful children and a wife of a man that left twelve years later and said it was all her fault. Now with time we have found a friend in one another. A survivor of a baby boy that passed away in child birth and a set of triplets that passed on the same way. Her life has finally settled down enough to do one of the other things she loves to do write poetry.
