About the Author

Alice Johannesen, born in Florida August 16, 1919 always had a natural flare for art, as well as the art of storytelling. Alice is the proud mother of two grown children, Barbara and Roy. She was happily married to her Norwegian husband, Joachim Arenfeldt Johannesen for sixty-seven years. Sonja Johannesen has enjoyed putting words to her grandmother’s artwork.
