About the Author

Les Davis was born in Southern Alabama in 1949, the son of poor sharecroppers. As a youth of 12 years old he dedicated himself to the Lord, asking Him for the power that Samson had. The Lord in turn blessed him with incredible strength. In 1990, Les Davis began to do incredible demonstrations of strength at events. In l994, he was called into the ministry. Now Rev. Davis combines awesome strength with powerful teaching and preaching to reach the youth of America and adults of all ages with the Life-changing Word of God. Rev. Davis attended Henry County Training School for 12 years, receiving a diploma. He also attended Jefferson State Junior College in Birmingham, Alabama, completing two years and transferring to Saint Bernard College in Cullman, Alabama He completed two years there before Saint Bernard College closed. He majored in physical education ar both colleges. While attending Henry County Training School, Les Davis was awarded the All Conference Most Valuable Player award. While attending Jefferson State Junior College, he was recognized two times as MVP, All Conference, All Original in Alabama and Georgia All American, and Legend. He is the first man in the United States to break the Guinness Book of World Records in iron bar bending.
