About the Book

Everyone was happy in the magical land of Scotwalend, but not the outside world. Things were changing a war was going on between some of the tribes in Scotland. The farmers were being robbed of their crops. People were hungry, so they were desperate. The roads in Wales were dangerous now, for there were highway robbers at every turn. The little village of Bonnie was not yet affected for all knew they were watched over by the magic land of Scotwalend nearby.

About the Author

About the author: Gwendoline Phillips was born in England and raised in the Midwestern United States. As a child she expressed her creativity through writing short stories, poetry, and creating arts and crafts. Gwendoline has published her first children’s book, inspired by her children and grandchildren, “The Magical Land of Scotwalend,” and is currently working on another book in the series. About the illustrator: Amy Dwarika is a native of Florida, who graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville. She has been drawing and painting since childhood; her work can be found in private collections throughout the United States & South America. Currently, Amy is working on a custom line of hand painted furniture and also illustrations for Gwendoline Phillips’ series of books.
