The dwarfs are creatures cursed by the gods and condemned to a life underground. They live as outcast in the mountains and unearth glittering gems and metals for the Queen. When Queen Ana’s father King Conell died he left no male heirs, so Ana was forced to marry her cousin Finn to keep a Mathis on the throne. Ana is with child, if it is a boy then he will be the next king. But Ana has a secret that no one can find out about or it may cost her the kingdom. The East Kingdom: Ruled by King Tristan Carrender and Queen Helen of Rosegarden, the capitol of the East. Their kingdom consists of six cities governed by high lords and eight villages, along with the elves of the forest. The elves are magical beings with powers of prophecy and the ability to inspire the forest, lakes and nature. The elves are not like humans in the fact that they do not age. Their skin does not wrinkle and sag, and they can live hundreds of years longer than humans. They are very beautiful beings all with silver hair and violet eyes. You will meet the leader of the elves Bronimir and his youngest daughter Aldreda, along with her human lover Julian. You will also meet King Tristan’s eldest daughter Princess Margery whom her family calls Maggie. She is of age to marry and her father is faced with the task of finding her a suitable husband. They will attempt something that has never been done in the history of the Four Kingdoms and hope it will work out for the better. The South Kingdom: Ruled by King Abhay Cvetkovich and Queen Kala of Dragons End, the capitol of the South. Their kingdom consists of nine cities governed by high lords and eight villages. King Abhay has the only two living dragons left in the world, and having the last of something is always a problem. You will meet the king and his wizard Xolan whom is his faithful servant and friend. The king faces betrayal by many of the subjects of his kingdom. He tries to bring justice and peace to his kingdom, but is failing. But what he does not know is that he should fear another kingdom more. The West Kingdom: Ruled by King Cynon McCue and Queen Aileen of West Watch Castle, the capitol of the West. Their kingdom consists of five cities governed by high lords and eight villages. The West is known for their fighting spirit and their army. King Cynon has the strongest army in all the Kingdoms, and he wants nothing more then to take over the world. But his greed blinds him and if he is not careful it could be his end. You will also meet his eldest son and heir to the throne Prince Aidan. Aidan is blessed with youth and innocence, he does not have his father’s greed and cares only for the good of the kingdom. The king gets an unexpected offer that could make his kingdom strong and powerful. But his greed does not make him think about the possible consequences
