Jojo Sees a Monster

About the Book

I wrote this book to appeal to the humor of young developing minds between the ages of 1 to 7 years old. It was actually inspired by true events. It is my hope that it will amuse children and leave them with a desire to learn and hear more about the interaction of our domesticated and woodland creatures. The character Jojo is the name given to the ground hog that chose to explore the boundaries of my back yard after I had installed a new wooden fence around it. The house had previously sat vacant for nearly three years. The monster in the story is based on my dog whose name is Saxx.

About the Author

Larry Franklin was born in 1953 in Gary, Indiana. He was always interested in trying to write a children’s book but never really had time to commit to it. He is a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force and a disabled veteran. After retirement he studied Computer graphics at the University of Dayton for three years and Studio art and Graphic Design at Central State University. Serious health issues prevented him from fulfilling one of his dreams. Writing and photography have been his main interest throughout the core years of his life.
