About the Author

A native of New York, NY Adrienne started her career part-time in the military after attending college in search of an opportunity in Building Construction. Unsuccessful in her attempts with no hands on experience, she transitioned into law enforcement and in the fall of 1994 was offered the opportunity to work in banking where she spent 16 years in various areas of management. Always ready for an opportunity, Adrienne decided she wanted to be her own boss. During her corporate tenure she delved into many part-time ventures ranging from marketing, sales to eventually owning her own brick and mortar Salon and Supply Store in 2003. Adrienne learned the business quickly and soon began managing 9 online supply stores for BOBSA. The next 5 yrs brought both successes and failure however Adrienne believes the skills and life lessons are all a part of what makes her the person she is today. “It has been very rewarding to cultivate my talent; make new friends and build relationships. Most importantly, my experiences have helped me achieve so much from the interaction and diversity and mentally capture the essence of what makes us all unique.” In 2009, Adrienne moved away from the hair care industry and begun what some would call a childhood dream. While others dream of becoming doctors and lawyers, Adrienne always knew she would write someday. She also knew that becoming an author would require patience, time and experience. So her first book encompasses a dream….. And she looks forward to sharing her journey with her readers moving forward.
