About the Book

My collection of poetry is filled with imagery in the perspective of love. It combines literary aspects of rhyme, alliteration, consonance, and personification among others. It carries you through the highs and lows that encompass our human emotions. It is raw. It contains little punctuation intentionally allowing the reader to read it as their own. Little punctuation is meant in most cases to provide an unscripted picture of your own perception. Read it time and time again and you will find different angles each time. I hope that you enjoy the uniqueness of my expressions.

About the Author

I am a 31 year old mother of 3. My mother was killed by drunk drivers when I was 5. Childhood was a chaotic time. I moved when I was 15. I realized most men aren’t great. Now I am getting out of a rocky marriage while trying to uphold my Navy enlistment. Through all my days I’ve learned love is the strongest and warmest need each soul requires. Through all my losses I find more people to love. So even when someone walks away, God sends another. I have biblical and spiritual beliefs. I breathe, live, laugh, and love. Christine Michelle
