As Maria looks into the mirror, she has a hard time believing in herself because of her current situation. A special teacher, Mrs. Blossom notices Maria’s lack of confi dence and encourages her to believe in herself. Later, Maria comes to the realization that she can be WHATEVER she wants to be. For the fi rst time in Maria’s life, she begins to DREAM and realizes that all things are possible.

About the Author Lucretia Smith is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Over the years,Lucretia has developed a passion for writing children’s books and has a love and a desire to reach students no matter where they are.
