About the Book

The picture on the front cover has a story behind it. In 1991, I ordered them through a catalog. Without even skipping a beat I separated the kids by family. Why I did this, I don’t have a clue. Perhaps, it’s natural to cling to who belongs to whom.

About the Author

I have an AA Degree in Social and BS Degree in Organizational Management. I’ve been in the beauty industry for 28 years. A Cosmetologist since 1982 and Barber since 1981 and I currently own a Cosmetology School. Prior to that I have been in the securities industry and a Flight Attendant. I’m not good at sitting still and I’m always looking for a new adventure. I love to write creatively, it’s been cheap therapy. This is the first time I’ve put a large amount of words together….va-la a book! I know many others share my relevant topic. I trust this is my beginning. In 1995 without even thinking, I had 3 separate ornaments made because those were his 3 kids and the other 2 kids were mine—no family connection. The third ornament was the “one” connection, the only one. Years later I realized that from the very beginning we instinctly make a divide, a separateness of relations, nothing intentional or mean-spirited, just crystal clear that families don’t blend.
