About the Book

In The Great Bean Adventure, two beans get out of their plastic bag surroundings to find out what lays in the great big world beyond. Through hardship and trials two friends discover a world greater than they ever imagined. As the beans develop a friendship and discover the world around them they also physically grow and wonderful things happen.

About the Author

Wendy was born in Lockport, Manitoba, Canada in the country in the prarie and moved to Moorhead, MN at 30 years old. She always wanted to write children's books and novels. She received a degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2006 in English Literature and then worked for a couple of years as a Medical Writer. She enjoys spending time with her children, baking, camping, hiking and reading. She has traveled in South Africa, Europe and around the United States and Canada. One of the best vacations was with a sister and brother-in law and their family in Disneyland. Second best trip was camping in the Black Hills in South Dakota.
