About the Book
The author retired from the U.S. Air Force on Nov 1, 1970 as a LtCol and received the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal. Post-retirement, he ran his own communications consulting firm for 18 years. He performed consulting assignments for national and local governments, communications equipment manufacturers, and industry. He taught part of a short course on Digital Telephony at George Washington University and co-authored three professional books, one of which was translated into Japanese. For 15 years, he served as a volunteer member of an FCC committee to develop Federal technical standards for telephone terminal equipment. He retired from consulting in 1993.
