About the Book

Stephen; A Strong Man to Run a Race, is about a little boy who loves to run, but has no self-esteem to believe he could actually win. He goes to Grandpa, who tells him of a story of long ago. Stephen decides to run a race from school and wins. Stephen learns a valuable lesson in believing no matter how weak he may be he is actually stronger because he believes he can.

About the Author

About the author: I received my Master from the University of Texas at El Paso, Majoring in Language Arts and reading. I hope to work as a middle school teacher at an El Paso school. My goal is to be a mentor and guide for teenagers instructing the fundamentals of reading and comprehension.

I previously graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2005. I previously attended El Paso Community College in 1994 with my Associates degree in Automotive Technology.



Sobre la autora: Obtuve mi Maestría en Arte del Lenguaje y Lectura de la Universidad de Texas en El Paso. Espero trabajar como maestra de secundaria en una escuela de El Paso. Mi meta es ser mentora y consejera de adolescentes enseñándoles las bases de la lectura y la comprensión.

Me gradué previamente de la Universidad Howard Payne con una Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, en el 2005. Antes de eso, asistí a El Paso Community College, donde recibí mi certificado en Tecnología Automotriz, en 1994.
