About the Book

“And The End Shall Be” is a work of fi ction set in the early twenty second century. The story follows a group of people who are confronted with the diffi culties of life after a global disaster. Are the end times upon us? Are we truly alone in the universe? Strangers before the event, they learn to rely on one another in the absence of many of the modern conveniences that were casually taken for granted before they had to learn to survive without them. Love and friendships fl ourish in the midst of discovery and hardships as they struggle to adapt.

About the Author

The author was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota and enjoyed life as a child in the wonderful, warm and friendly small towns of the mid-American plains before his family moved to Shreveport, Louisiana when he was twelve years old. He earned his bachelor’s and his master’s from Louisiana Tech University. He served as an Air Force officer during the Vietnam conflict before returning to Shreveport where he worked as an urban planner for the city and eventually for the state government in middle management at the sprawling medical center. He retired from the state and currently resides in Louisiana where he enjoys reading and writing and attending various sporting events at his alma mater.
