About the Book

The poetry with-in these pages was written during my high school years and immediately after graduation. After fi nding the folder containing the yellowing pages holding these words; I decided it was time to embrace that long-awaited dream and publish my fi rst book! It is interesting that teens of today also contend with similar emotions and situations.

I do hope you will deem this collection a ‘worthy’ beginning.

About the Author

Debbie is a native of southern Illinois who currently resides in Oklahoma. She grew up in Fairview Heights and attended school there; as well as graduating from Belleville Township High School East! She has always loved writing. For the last 15 years, Debbie has volunteered her time writing for her mothers of twins’ national organization (NOMOTC). Debbie and her husband, Ed, have 4 daughters including identical twins.

Debbie holds a BSN degree from SIUE. She served 6 ½ years in the United States Air Force Nurse corps; as well as worked in the civilian market prior to becoming a MOM. She is excited to be able to print her fi rst book – and looks forward to another project in the foreseeable future.
