About the Author

Mary began writing poetry in her early years. She graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and went on to pursue numerous Bachelor’s Degrees at Our Lady of the Elms College in Chicopee, MA. Although she didn’t graduate with an English degree, she continued to write after college. She has written all types of poetry – but after having two children of her own and being a foster parent for many years, she decided children’s poetry would be her focus.
