In 1966 Joined the Army after graduation and served for three years, met and married my wife in 1967 just before going overseas to serve a term of service in Korea. After coming home lived in Fayetteville NC. until 1972 when we moved back to Maryland to care for my Grandmother. Raised two daughters and was a 4 H leader from 1989 until 1995. Provided the horses for the Horse and pony club. After Daughters left home and started family’s of their own moved back to Florida to look after my mother who was living in the Tampa Bay area. In 2007 became a Pasco county Master Gardener thru the University of Florida. In researching my family history found that there was an American Native connection. I always loved to cook and collected cookbooks. All my friends told me that I should put my two loves together (cooking and Native history) so I started collecting Native American recipes which are now in this and several other books to come.
