About the Author

Hi! My name is Beverly Janelle and I love to write poetry. I was born and raised in Michigan with nine brothers and sisters. I’m the youngest so you can imagine how spoiled I was. My first thirteen years I grew up in farmlands and was free as the wind. Then my family moved to Detroit and I was no longer free. Since I’ve grown I have been married and have one daughter. She had five children and I now have six GREAT grandchildren. Love them all. I have been exposed to so many wonders in my life. I spent two weeks in Europe in the 1980’s. Not long enough! My favorite place in Europe is the Swiss Alps. I loved Switzerland. I’ve been to forty two of our fifty states and my biggest desire is to hit the other eight, especially Alaska. I’ve been to the Eastern side of Mexico. I loved Cozumel where the history of the Aztec Indians is still alive. I’ve been to Canada, as have a lot of other Americans. I took a three week vacation in Hawaii. Awesome!! So much to do and see there. As you can see, I love to travel. I try to make my poetry a visual picture for others to see what I’ve seen and feel what I’ve felt, both good and bad, through all these years. Must say though, it’s been mostly good.
