About the Book
In the book “Disna’s Abramsons And Descendants” is presented a family history of six generations (1867-2012), “The author recalls his memoirs about the life in Disna with ancestors born in Russia at the time of the tsar Alexander II and continues the story of the next fi ve generations including his great-grandchildren born in the United States of America during the presidency of Barack Obama. Descendants residing in Germany, Netherlands, Israel and the U.S.A. contributed their stories to this book.
About the Author
M O S H E I O F I S, a Holocaust survivor and WWII veteran, was injured in a battle for Vienna, in 1945. His earlier publications: “When We Were Young. Russian WWII Veterans’ Memoirs” (2005) and “Holocaust Survivors-WWII Warriors.”(2010)
