About the Book

Eighth Grade dance is about a man named Macho Man who forms a clique back in seventh grade. When his eighth grade dance comes he asks a woman name Lollipop. What Macho Man doesn’t know is that she is a diabetic and that she loves him as much as he loves her. They never got to tell each other how they felt because Lollipop dies of diabetic shock. Twenty years has past and Lollipop comes back as a ghost to finally tell Macho Man that she loved him and they finally got the dance they always wanted.


About the Author

Linda was named after the famous singer Linda Ronstadt. She is currently single and lives in Bloomington, Minnesota. Her nick name is Dee-Dee. Her hobbies include collecting autographs, hockey, writing, and spending time with family and friends. She would like to someday meet The Rock A.K.A Dwayne Johnson. Her dream job is to be a paraprofessional or a child advocate. Linda has written three published books now. She was in the Minneapolis /St. Paul Magazine in April of 2009. Linda’s most memorable moment is when she met her favorite hockey player Cal Clutterbuck and got a picture with him. She would say is the most inspiring person in her life is Ms. V. her second grade teacher whom today she has a great relationship with and considers a second mother.
