Johnny’s Coloring Book for Insomniacs

About the Book

This book contains originals images;some from life, some from my imagination, that are intended to  motivate the reader to not only use color to bring expression to these outlines, but to expand on the original and to move on to create one's own images as a means of personal expression and discovery. The text gives some explanation of how these images came to be and what they represent to the author. It is the author's wish that anyone picking up and using this book as a platform from which to continue to see the world...inner and outer, will discover a way of communicating that otherwise would not necessarily occur to them.      JWMoore.

About the Author

I am 66 years old. Drawing is my earliest passion, then came THE DRUMS! I have pursued both since childhood. After High School I attended the University of Oregon in 1964 to study Architecture...seven years later after 2 years active in the Navy and a failed marriage I graduated with a .bachelors degree, and immediately joined a band that played rock'n soul music. After that lead to what seemed like permanent poverty I went to work as a .welder. This led to 30 years of welding pipe in the Portland shipyards. and two more failed marriages. AT present I am living in Oregon City happily married, retired from the yards and am looking forward to playing with The Jim Mesi band in Honolulu this October.
