She included some of her technique that anyone can use as a Foster Parent and Provider Care. “Give yourself a second and think we all need help in this World. Extend your hand to help shelter a child. We all need a chance in life. These Children is our future and lending a hand is the most rewarding thing you can do the time is now.”
About the Author
Darlene Parisi was born in 1951 in Littleton Massachusetts. She worked in the computer field for over 25 years. The year before the Computer Company started to down-sized a number of people and department she was fortunate to try out another type of work being a Foster Parent. Thanks to her friend Lynda, being a Foster Parent was the best thing she could have even done. She expressed what age group she would prefer. She opened her house to adolescence girls and found out that helping out children in need is the greatest gift of all. She raised two adolescence girls for two years. Afterwards, she became a full time Foster Parent to a total of six adolescence girls. Her home was packed with adolescent girls. Being a Foster Parent was difficult but she got a 105% fulfillment out of it. She loved being a Foster Parent. For over 11 years being a Provider Care Person for Department of Social Services for Children, she expanded her services further to work with a couple of agencies and opened her home to older people that has disabilities.
