This novel tells the story of Dr. Anil Gupta, a young doctor who left India and came to the United States for advanced training. He promised his parents and girlfriend in India that he would return to India soon. However, he became mesmerized by the glory in the United States and decided to stay in the United States. Eventually he married a woman in the United States and was blessed with a daughter.

What happens when Anil’s daughter decides to marry his ex-girlfriend’s son? Will Anil’s ex-girlfriend allow this marriage to happen?

About the Author

Krishna Sharma is a retired physician living in Pittsford, NY with her husband. Originally from Delhi, Dr. Sharma has enjoyed a successful career as an internist in the United States since 1972. She is also a proud mother of three daughters and now a doting grandmother of fi ve granddaughters. Dr. Sharma has been a literature enthusiast her entire life but has recently begun her writing career. She has published a book of short stories in Hindi
