About the Author

E’ShaVonne is a graduate of the University of South Carolina – Upstate, earning a Bachelors’ Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English. After spending years of teaching in both the public and private school sectors, she made the decision to delve into one of her creative passions; writing. Ironically, it wasn’t until her junior year in college, when she was told and encouraged by her Creative Writing professor to pursue a literary career. Prior to this, she was unaware of her unique ability to bring stories to life in the vivid manner that was often praised by her professor and peers. The youngest of four children, E’ShaVonne was born in the New England area, and grew up in a devout Christian home in South Carolina. Much of her upbringing and personal experiences are reflected in Oni’s Coffee as the plot thickens and storylines unfold. With an extensive musical background and strong roots in the church, E’ShaVonne uses this knowledge to her advantage and creates an intricate weave that intertwines the elements of love, friendship, religion, family, and betrayal.
