Joshua B. had a secret! His mommy was having a baby, but he couldn’t tell anyone, especially his family! Joshua B. was an only child, and sometimes he was very lonely. He needed someone to be his friend. When his dad and mom said they would be his friend, Joshua B. would say, “How about a puppy or a brother or sister?”

About the Author

I am a grandmother who loves to write stories about my grandchildren, because they do and say many amazing things. Whenever I spend time with them, it feels like I’m on an adventure. They learn from me and I learn so much more from them. Each one of my grandchildren has their own way of solving a problem or overcoming a challenge. They show very little fear!
