About the Author

Paul Garrett was born in Edgefield, South Carolina in 1958, where his father worked on a farm to support the family. He is the third child of eight brothers and sisters. He attended Edgefield County Schools where he played football and graduated 32th in a class of 300 students. His father stopped farming and started to haul pulpwood when he was 12 years of age. Working on a farm and in pulpwood industry taught him the importance of working to get what you want in life. He married Deidra Waldo, who bored two sons, Paul and Jonathan. While attending Southern Wesleyan University, he discovered that he like to write. After being fired from a job where he had worked 14 years he decided to write a book to help other job seekers, such as himself to deal with and overcome the issues of searching for a job.
