About the Book

Baja California has some of the most unusual plant life on earth. Many of the plants are found only in Baja which is located on a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. The plants are different enough in the way they look that one could imagine that they are from another world.

About the Author

I have always loved writing, but my life weaved across many paths before reaching a place where writing could be prioritized. I was very fortunate to have spent much of my life serving in the public schools. Children are a wonderful inspiration for reaching out to dreams. Visiting far away lands has always held a great fascination for me. This story is located in one of my favorite places – Baja California, Mexico. I find it important to highlight the uniqueness of countries and cultures within our world. Each one has a special beauty with its own cast of characters and stories to tell. Each one has its own lessons to teach. And, I love to listen and learn.
