About the Author

Teakie Welty (nee Carlota Henriques) HERE AND THERE, her first children’s book, was inspired by the many questions posed by her children and grandchildren. Originally from Larchmont, NY, she attended Elmira College, married and pursued a multitude of careers, including founding an Image Consulting Company: Beauti Quest, Inc. She lives in Pompton Plains, NJ
