About the Author

Laura Broussard is a native Louisianan born in Lafayette. Laura Broussard currently lives in Houston Texas. Laura Broussard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the LeTourneau University in Houston, in Psychology. Laura Broussard is currently working on a Master’s of Social Worker from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Laura Broussard has volunteered with different organization; Children’s Advocate Free the Captive, and Texas Children’s Hospital. Laura Broussard passion is working with at risk children. Laura Broussard was inspired to write this book after watching her Aunt Lois go through the difficulties of leukemia and a bone marrow transplant.
