Our Family Story

About the Book

"Our Family Story" is an illustrated book meant to be shared with an elderly person you love. This story is filled with love and spans generations, telling of people whose struggle growing up during the Great Depression made them stronger, and taught them to appreciate the sweeter, simpler things of life. It is the story of children growing up when life was lived at a slower pace and families enjoyed spending time with each other. Enjoy it with someone you love!

About the Author

Katy Green was born in a small central KY town. She is married, and loves spending time with her three children and their families, including 10 grandchildren. Katy is an avid reader and a lifelong learner, with an MBA, and a Masters of Art in Teaching. She still loves the outdoors, enjoying gardening and fi shing. This is Katy’s fi rst published book, but it won’t be her last.
