About the Author
Mario Thomas Noel (born August 9, 1984) is a Trinidad and Tobago writer. He was raised in a staunch Catholic upbringing by his mother Mary, a professional nurse and father Chrys. He attended San-Fernando Boys’ Government School and later attended Pleasantville Senior and Couva Private Grammar where he obtained his school leaving certificates. At 26, he received the President’s award from President George M. Richards for his participation in the program. His studies into the different ethnicities and religions of his country led him to explore Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism. After a subsequent nervous breakdown, he began working odd jobs at a Resort hotel, greenhouse nursery and multinational warehouse shopping chain store. It is from this, inspiration was given for this first book Ecstasy of the Atma.
