About the Book

This book chronicles my life as then being a nineteen-year-old young man who was just beginning to exert myself in the world. I was unaware of my spiritual connection until the night I sustained a debilitating injury. The danger that was looming ahead was foretold through my spirit, and I even spoke of it to those who were around me. Unfortunately, I was unable to conceptualize the warning, and therefore, my life would forever be altered. My objective for writing this book is to persuade the reader’s mind in a way that they become one with me and experience every aspect of my journey. I further explain the intricate nature of my disability and how prayer, passion, and perseverance have led me to defeat every obstacle that has been placed before me.

About the Author

Michael Gaines is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, who grew up on the south side in College Park. He is a loving father of a son and has quite an extensive family. Growing up in Atlanta, there was always some sort of mischief to get into, which ultimately led him to become afflicted. Michael would go through years of intensive therapy and rehabilitation. He became self-sufficient and enrolled in Columbus State University where he majored in computer science and psychology. He is now in the process of trying to launch a successful career as a writer.
