About the Book
A narrative that reads like a musical score, a story that invites you to travel, participate in the events, and puts you at the heart of the adventures that not only chronicle the captivating (and tumultuous and passionate) life the author, but also takes place at the intersection of the histories of Africa, Europe, and Latin America - Brazil, where he currently resides. The course of his journey is an example of multiculturalism that aligns the author with the term while allowing him to embrace the world – when the fateful question is inevitably asked: “But where are you from?” it seems the author almost wants to say: “I am from everywhere and nowhere, neither black nor white.” Ange Miguel has lived fully and he allows the reader, with simplicity and candor, to relive the profound scenes of his uncommon life, shaped by history, and imbued with a voice that is uniquely his. He opens up to the reader as if he were a long-time friend.
