About the Book

"This is the author’s third book. In Millie Blue’s prior books,
“A Simple Peace” and “A Welcome Peace,” the stories
have taken place in the fictitious, but very familiar, town
of Newton, Colorado. In this book, “A Peace in the Making,”
she takes us in and around Rocky Mountain National Park
where we embark on a new journey with new characters.
The main character, Molly Sutton, is beginning her career
as a National Park Ranger. While her future looks bright, her
past is dragging her down. Her boss, Chief Drake Johnson,
recognizes the signs as he battles ghosts of his own past. He
realizes Molly is hiding something and is determined to get
to the bottom of it. It is here where Millie Blue’s readers will
recognize an old friend or two from the previous books.
Millie weaves the characters and locations together to create
a wonderfully, entertaining read. She has a way of making
the reader feel a part of the story. As the reader, you will learn
about faith, loss and love. But, maybe and, perhaps, most
importantly, you will just enjoy breathing in the mountain air
and taking in the scenery along the way.
The author writes under the pen name of Millie Blue. While she
doesn’t reside in Colorado, she hopes she will one day soon.
She and her husband have a chocolate Labrador Retriever.
Cooper is the inspiration of the dogs in each of her books.
The three of them have spent many summers hiking and
enjoying the beauty of the mountains, rivers and streams in
the beautiful state of Colorado."
