About the Book

This book is written for any golfer with a handicap of fourteen and more. It is also targeted for those golfers that usually play on public courses or privately owned courses open to the general public. By using some of the rules included in the book, they should increase the player’s likelihood of enjoying the game as long as they are fit to swing a club. The second portion of the book includes poker games that are available to maximize friendships and fun as some of the golfers relax in clubhouses or, with the same friends, enjoy one another’s company, hunting, fishing, and camping.

About the Author

The author, William Bopf, has retired after working as a vice president of a development company and as a private consultant to cities and private clients. In addition to his other professional pursuits, he was a city manager in California and two in Michigan. From this background, particularly the city of Napa, California, he authored his first book, Blood on the Vine, a Nada Valley murder mystery. This book spans the Northern California wine industry all the way to France and Germany. The book involves murder, economic conspiracy, and love. In writing this second book, the author hopes to attract others to the good amusement that can develop from golf and poker with their friends.
