About the Author

William Stewart is a Washington, DC lawyer currently with the Justice Department. He is a former Army Ranger, engineer officer, and Defense policy analyst. A Dartmouth graduate, he studied theology at Georgetown University. In addition to The Journey to the Sea, he is the author of The Lost Kingdom of God, a work describing the spiritual journey and radically challenging the tenets of institutional Christianity. What is revealed through an investigation of sacred texts, modern scholarship, and the lives of holy persons is the original, powerful teaching of healing and liberation of that Faith. He lives in Falls Church, Virginia with his wife, step-daughter, and grandson.
