About the Book

Kayla Stevens returns home from college to find that she's still in love with Quinn Daniels, her ex-youth pastor and 14 years her senior.  She finds that he has been involved with someone else for 3 years so she tries to forget him by dating his younger brother who turns out to be an abusive alchoholic.  Kayla gets a job at the church and Quinn falls in love with her when they spend so much time working together.

Quinn breaks up with Erica to be with Kayla only to find that the church forbids them to be together not only because of their age difference, but because Kayla was one of Quinn's students only a few years ago.   They try to stay away from one another but their passion is stronger than they are, so they are secretly married.  But new problems arise when Kayla becomes pregnant and they are publicly humiliated by lies printed in the newspaper.

Peggy Toolen was born and raised in Houston, Texas and reciently moved to Michigan. When she's not reading and writing romace novels she spends her spare time drawing and quilting. She also enjoys spending time with her husband of 16 years and her two teenage daughters.
