The book shows how AARP lost its case with the IRS and paid $135 million in penalties. The author, 79 years old, and a former journalist who worked with the Senior program for over 10 years, gives an inside, intimate view of AARP´s fiasco. About the Author
A retired, award-winning journalist, the author is a decorated World War II veteran of the European Theater, the recipient of two Purple Hearts, and recommended for the Silver Star. Among a number of newspapers he had worked for, he was an investigative reporter with Hearst's Detroit Times, and a copy editor with the Chicago Tribune's Chicago Today. After the war years he attended several universities achieving degrees in psychology and philosophy.
