About the Book

The individuals interviewed for this book were ordinary people with big problems. They had financial worries, fears of death, depression, grief following the loss of a loved one and tendencies toward suicide. These were the heavy and painful cries of their hearts.

Then something happened. These ordinary people had extraordinary experiences – with God. When that happened, the torments of their lives were taken away.

In this book these individuals tell us, in their own words, exactly what happened to them, why it happened and how they were changed.

In reliving these stories from the people who experienced them, the author hopes that each reader will sense the intensity of the experience and come to know for him/herself the courage and joy that was the result of each encounter.

About the Author

Joseph A. Schackelman has been a Journalist for 42 years. He has won Journalism awards for investigative reporting, editorial writing, editorial research and feature column writing. He has also taught interviewing skills. In addition to his writing career, Schackelman serves as a media consultant. Joseph A. Schackleman and his wife Suzanne, reside in Racine, Wisconsin.
