About the Book

Grassroots is a non-partisan electoral political primer on how to run an effective and successful campaign. It is written particularly for smaller races from city council and school board up to state legislature. This book is valuable not just to candidates for governmental positions, but for elections within political parties, unions, organizations and on college campuses. It provides valuable, interesting insights for anyone interested in how campaigns really work. Fetzer Mills, Jr. demystifies the process of putting together a winning election campaign. From city halls, to halls of justice, from state house to White House, Mills knows the political terrain. He knows the mistakes made by losers and the tactics and strategies that produce success. In this guide he draws a clear map for winning elections at the local level. For as Mills knows, and clearly communicates in his no nonsense style, all politics is local. Follow his directions and win!
