About the Book

When Martin Bender, a Melbourne, Florida real estate broker, stops to inspect an abandoned orange grove, he literally falls into The United States of America Number Two a simultaneous alternate universe. He is informed that a return to The United States Number One is not possible and that he may as well resign himself to U.S. II citizenship. This, of course, is rejected by Martin, a former mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry.    An exact account of Martin’s misadventure is on file in the Library of Congress. Be aware, however, the LoC referred to exists in U.S. II.    If, someday, by some godawful chance, you are privileged to visit there, be sure to look up Dr. Walter Lewis, a resident of Atlanta Offset. He will be delighted to supply personal details of Martin’s condition and whereabouts and, no doubt, some sound advice.    For bad, or good, Martin refused the advice.
