About the Book

Max Carson is a young man who’s known in town for being a very unlucky man. He’s driving his car and out of the blue he has a big car crash. He survives. And, as someone fills him in at a butcher shop he works for, Marshall, an overdressed new guy in town, starts to gain some interest in the strange life of Max. Marshall’s co-workers start by telling him how Max even even unluckier when he hooked up with an apparently unlucky woman too, Abby Sauders. As soon as they form a couple, they seem to attract all the bad luck around them, in a whole series of events and episodes that just are too strange to happen to a regular person. At least, that’s what it seems from an exterior observer . Along their love story, they become friends with a crazy restaurant manager, a slaughter house animal-murderer and a fifty years old waitress avid for sex and money. As Max and Abby start knowing each other better, they seem to have a close resemblance in their way of being and thinking. And, as the bad luck events get going, Marshall, the butcher shop substitute employee, becomes more and more interested in their story. He gets addicted to it. But, as the story reaches its end, he will see it happen too. "Bad Luck or What?" is the journey to of two young lovers with what it seems to be serious problems of bad luck. Or is it not?
