Suzie has a dilemma on her hands when she has a look in her sock drawer. All of her socks have disappeared and she decides to go and find out where they could all be? Follow Suzie through her story as she discovers her socks are having fun hiding from her.

About the Author

Sandra Novello is a Children’s Book writer and Children’s eBook author. Born in Melbourne, Australia in 1961 and graduated from the teaching College at Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1982. She taught for several years and later worked as a Casual Relief teacher enjoying the challenge of teaching students in both primary and secondary schools. While teaching at the Casey Grammar School in 2010, she was inspired to write her first book “Clive the Clever Crow”. After reading the story and seeing the expression of delight on the children’s faces, she decided to continue writing more children’s stories..

The author, Sandra Novello, has written a delightful book about socks, all kinds of socks. When I was little we had one color of socks, white, and then as I grew older colored socks came along. We had pink, blue and yellow. And then we had lace around around the top of the socks. Soon, designs appeared on socks. And, now we have every kind of sock you can imagine.
Parents/teachers will enjoy reading this book to their children. Children love socks and will have a lot of questions. Where do socks go? There always seems to be a missing sock. Does the washing machine eat up socks? The illustrations by Frances Espanol, are bright and vivid, depicting the adventures of the socks and where they can be found. One of the best parts of this book is that it is written in wonderful, lilting rhyme. This is such a fun way to read a book for a child and for the parents and teachers."

"The important thing about books for very young children is that they must be read repeatedly to the child. It is the way that children learn language most quickly and easily. This delightful book is designed for very young children. It will work well with Clive the Clever Crow. by the same author, although the latter is for slightly older children. Point to the words as you read each story aloud. Eventually the children will be able to `read' the story by themselves, and point to the words.
