Dr. John Foster and his brother, Jason, pack the van, bound for their isolated fishing cabin on an inlet of Bayou D'Arbonne Lake. Jason pays a visit to The Mud Hole and becomes a regular, picking up money at the pool table and women at the bar. His popularity escalates during absent-minded bar talk when he tells a lie that ensnares John and his brother's fiancé, Jordanna Gray, into a downward spiral of international espionage and murder.

About the Author

SCARLETT DOYLE is the author of another Dr. John Foster suspense novel, There’s No Such Thing As Closure. The author has a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University. She is a state-licensed Professional Planner who deals with development regulations in New Jersey. Scarlett lives in central New Jersey with her husband, Gerry. ERICK DOYLE is an alumnus of Colgate University, where he graduated with a major in Mathematics. After graduation, Erick and two friends opened a retail business in Aspen. After leaving Colorado, he moved to New Jersey and has transformed a 350 acre dairy farm into a working commercial bison farm where he lives with his wife, Kristen and two children, Piper and Sadie. He is the owner of the Readington River Buffalo Company.
