About the Author

Andy A. Afrouz has a PhD from the UK, a post MSc and MSc from the USA, and a BS from the UK. He was a past professional engineer from the province of Ontario, Canada, and Australia. He has extensive mining, rock mechanics, and ground control experiences, with variety of mine products and at all the professional levels in the USA, UK, Iran, Canada, France, Zambia, and Namibia. He has published numerous nationally and internationally peer reviewed researched publications, including three books. His interests are mainly in the science, technology, space ventures, human interactions, nature, and literature.
