About the Author

I was born in Huntsville, Alabama, on Redstone arsenal military base. My dad was an MP, guarding the rockets and missiles that were transporting supplies and people to space. After an honorable discharge, we moved to a farm. At age eighteen, I started working in a factory. At twenty-one, I was farming again, and by age twenty-three, I joined the US Army and was station in Germany, NATO 5. I was working on weapons vital to the US and its allies. After an honorable discharge, I started my third career driving a truck across the country. By 1996, I was an ATA certified driver trainer for Covenant Transportation in Chattoonna, Tennessee. By 1999, I stared a new adventure—homeless in Arizona. In 2012, I was diagnosed with mental illness and COPD, after years of smoking. Life is full of different adventures, as you will also have, and I have been blessed to have these adventures. By the grace of God, Creator and Father, I have started a new adventure (being sober, not being homeless, and finding my faith again). After I started this new adventure, these poems, sayings, and ideals came to me which tells a wonderful story; it is not the greatest story ever told, but a wonderful story indeed.
